Introduction to Collage – presented as series of Facebook Live courses, starting October 18, 2020.

Designed for those new to collage, or those who have never taken a formal collage class. These Facebook Live sessions will cover all of the basics or materials, techniques, and creating your own palette of unique collage papers. Take your collage art to the next level with simple composition exercises and dive into the endless array of possibilities with mixed media collage.

Course includes at least 8 hours of live instruction, a private Facebook group for sharing and asking questions, downloadable handouts and a series of exercises to teach and challenge you.

Courses will take place live in the private Facebook Group over the course of two weeks (October 18 – 30, 2020) and downloads, videos, and sharing/interaction will be accessible for two months, in case you miss the live sessions, or if you want to rewatch a lesson.

Students will be invited to the private Facebook Group about a week before the classes start, where you will get an overview of the course and suggested supplies. (The supply list will be full of optional suggestions, but the main supplies are very basic – scissors, gluestick, watercolor paper, and a sketchbook).
