OUT OF THE BOX Cardboard Collage Challenge • Open Call Submission Project October 2020 • Covid-19 makes it difficult to organize a collage garden. That’s why @miss.printed, @laotrarous and @mixdmediamashup (founder and hosts of the collage garden) are excited to announce that they will, once again, be joining forces for a new and exciting collaborative project. Exploring the possibilities of art out of a box, a cardboard challenge . • So get you scissors/scalpels sharpened as we unite to cut, rip and glue together !! .. • Project Specifications: We were looking for analog collages made with (parts of) a box, the cardboard. Different formats allowed, the maximum size is 40x40cm. Note that we will only select collages that can be flat packed. • A total of 30 works will be selected to be exhibited at the coolest cafés in Trondheim (Norway) and Sevilla (Spain) in December 2020. • The locations are:, Trondheim @kafesoil Sevilla @Lalitacafesvq You may submit more than one collages for consideration but no more than one piece per artist will be selected for the exhibitions • In addition, a wide range of submitted work will be featured via the Collage Garden instagram account. • To submit your work please tag us in at #collageoutofthebox on Instagram and tag @kafesoil and @Lalitacafesvq • Project Deadline 30 October 2020. Winners to be announced 2 November. • This project is organized without hideous administrative core, we are working without sponsors. Therefore we will have to ask a contribution of 15 usd for postal costs from the selected artists. • ..
